Community Event Resources
Summer is here, and it is brimming with possibilities! Our communities have some amazing events and resources to make this an amazing summer. From free festivals to local experiences to events for professional development, we have you covered in Pickaway County, Fairfield County, and Madison County. Here you will find a list of all the great places where you can find out what’s happening this week. It doesn’t matter if you live in one of these communities, or just want to take a weekend visit, there’s something for everyone.
When we are searching for events and local experiences, we usually start with Visitors Bureaus and city websites. They often have useful community resources like news, forums, and people you can speak with if you have questions.
Social media is one of our favorite sources for community information on what organizations, nonprofits, and community groups are active in a community. Their individual websites, Facebook pages, and other social media pages are excellent sources of information.
As we head deeper into summer, there is no shortage of events happening in the communities we serve. With four or five events often happening on the same day, below is a list of helpful webpages we have compiled that can help you find the perfect way to spend your day!
